This online tutorial gives information and guidance on academic integrity issues, specifically plagiarism. It provides a set of four exercises to check your learning.
Research Fundamentals is a series of online tutorials for students who would like an introduction to basic information literacy concepts. These concepts underlie good research skills in all academic disciplines.
Each module concludes with a quiz to check your learning. You will have the chance to retake the quiz if you are not satisfied with your score. There also is the option to print out your score if you need to turn it in for a class.
Research Fundamentals is an ongoing project. If you would like to be notified when new content is added, please click on the RSS update above and sign up for "guide updates."
Note: Research 101 is an older online tutorial that will be phased out when the Research Fundamentals project is complete. Until then, Collins Library will continue to provide access to it.
Research 101 is an interactive online tutorial for students who want an introduction to research skills. The tutorial covers how to select a topic and develop research questions, as well as how to select, search for, find, and evaluate information sources.
