SOAN 230: Indigenous Peoples: Getting Started

This course examines the situations, problems, and continually developing strategies of indigenous peoples living in various countries and regions scattered throughout the world.

SOAN 230: Welcome

The SOAN 230 course guide is a great place to start finding sources for your research paper.

You will need to use at least five outside scholarly sources. Outside sources refers to sources that have not been assigned as readings in class.  These may be scholarly journal articles or scholarly books that inform you and address questions about your indigenous group.
