Tacoma Reads 2021: Caste by Isabel Wilkerson: Join a Reading Group

LibGuide of resources for Tacoma Reads selection, Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents

Reading Groups

Several Reading Groups are being established on campus. These Reading Groups are designed to be informal opportunities for individuals to connect and discuss the book and are open to faculty and staff. On this page, you'll find links to resources to guide the conversations and a number of prompts to facilitate discussions.

Reading Groups are small, self-regulated groups. We encourage you to meet several times this semester and to attend the conversation with Isabel Wilkerson on November 13th sponsored by the Tacoma Public Library. Reading Groups provide colleagues with an opportunity to share knowledge, insights and reactions to this important book in an informal setting with peers from across the university.
