If you're interested in a broad topic in Chemistry, or would like to browse for inspiration, try one of these Library of Congress call letters:

  • QD1-65: General chemistry
  • QD71-142: Analytical chemistry
  • QD145-197: Inorganic chemistry
  • QD241-441: Organic chemistry (415-436 focus on biochemistry)
  • QD450-801: Physical chemistry & theoretical chemistry
  • QD 901-999: Crystallography

Also try 'TP' to find information on chemical technology!

Locations of books

  • New books are located in the Library lobby and are in call number order.
  • Print Reference books are on the first floor across from the Learning Commons area.
  • Book stacks: Consult the library map; look for location posters; or ask any staff member for help!
